The Operation Officer (Administration and Expansion) is at the forefront of bringing Uni to more people in new cities around Canada. The officer will work closely with cross-functional teams including operation, HR, IT and other managers to assist in setting up smooth operations in new market around Canada.


  • Working with the local management team, assist and coordinate in setting up and implement effective office operation procedures and logistic systems for the new branch.
  • Align the process of the branch with the company’s mission and achieve the desired results for business growth
  • Plan, determine, and allocate appropriate resources (staffing, training, equipment, supplies and warehouse) to ensure that quality services that meet and exceed customer expectations are provided
  • Establish plans to address any operational shortfalls
  • Set up project planning regarding schedule, delivery scope and pricing etc. with local management team after researching, conducting cost and data analyse
  • Solve daily logistic system incidents and issue investigation and resolution reports
  • Improve User’s business operational processes
  • Supervise and designate jobs to staff and ensure jobs are completed on time and the procedure are followed
  • Assist in preparation of operating budget, budget reviews and controls
  • Monitor labour and operating costs and reviews with the supervisor on a regular basis
  • Assist in preparing and presenting periodic project progress status reports
  • Work with the Human Resource department to hire property staff by Interviewing and training
  • Organize hiring event for contractor and sub-contractor delivery drivers
  • Provide training to new employees and contractors, make sure they are familiar with the use of Uniuni operational system (Uni Express Driver Platform) and follow the company’s operation procedures
  • Ensure a high quality logistics services are provided

  • Build, manage and grow positive relationship with current and potential customers
  • Understands how core processes deliver value and meet the organization’s defined business objectives


  • 1. At least a university degree in Business administration, office operation, non-tech project management OR related field.
  • At least 2 year of relevant experience in project management and service delivery
  • Proven experience of supervising 3-4 employees.
  • Specific knowledge of the logistics industry
  • Outstanding research, analysis and communication skills
  • Public speaking skills
  • Multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to excel in a constantly changing and rapidly growing workplace.
  • Exceptional writing, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge about work and organization of local and provincial councils
  • Team player who is able to work independently and as part of cross-functional groups
  • Familiar with technology skills and apps to navigate office and employee training management, e.g. Dingtalk, zoom, Microsoft suits, etc.
  • Willing to travel often and be relocated in every 1-2 years, may have international travels
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Experience in using UniUni App will be preferred

Language: Fluent in English writing and speaking, Second language will be an asset
