DSP Partner FAQs — UniUni

UniUni DSP Partner FAQs

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Delivery Service Partner. Below are answers to common questions about our DSP program, application requirements, and onboarding process.

A DSP is an independent business that partners with UniUni to provide delivery services and manage its own driver network and operations.

Apply through our official DSP page: uniuni.com/dsp. Applicants should have an established driver network, access to suitable vehicles, and the ability to meet operational requirements. We will reach out if you are selected as a DSP partner and assign you a UniUni representative.

At this time, UniUni is not onboarding drivers directly. If you would like to deliver UniUni packages, you must join one of our DSP partners. DSPs manage their own driver recruitment and onboarding.

Want to get started? Contact a UniUni DSP recruiting in your area. The DSP will explain available opportunities and guide you through its application and onboarding process.

Please prepare and submit the following:

  • EIN (Employer Identification Number)
  • Business formation documents or Certificate of Good Standing confirming corporation or LLC status
  • Business license, where applicable
  • Completed W-9
  • Valid government-issued photo ID
  • Home address and confirmation of whether it matches your driver’s license
  • Official business email for primary contact and contract communications
  • Finance email for financial communications
  • Contact phone number
  • Vendor account registration
  • ACH Authorization Form
  • Required credit report
  • Completed US DSP Information Sheet

Please also complete and return the two additional documents provided with your onboarding instructions.

DSPs must provide Certificates of Insurance (COIs) meeting the following requirements:

  • Commercial General Liability: $1 million per occurrence / $1 million aggregate
  • Commercial Auto Liability: $1 million combined single limit
  • Workers’ Compensation and Employer’s Liability: as required by applicable law

Please confirm which category applies to your business:

  • All W-2 employees
  • All 1099 independent contractors
  • A combination of W-2 employees and 1099 independent contractors

Driver classifications must reflect the actual working relationship and comply with applicable laws.

Under the stated program terms, independent contractor drivers operating outside California are automatically covered under UniUni’s OAI program at $2.40 per driver per day, deducted from payments.

Exemptions may apply to W-2 employees or DSPs maintaining their own compliant OAI policy, subject to required proof of coverage. OAI does not replace workers’ compensation coverage required by law.

Compensation is based on successfully delivered parcels, subject to the rates and payment terms outlined in the Delivery Services Agreement.

Under the Deposit Addendum to the Delivery Services Agreement, UniUni holds the second week’s payment as a deposit to secure the DSP’s obligations. Any remaining deposit balance is returned after the agreement ends and outstanding obligations have been resolved, in accordance with the agreement.

  1. Apply — submit your DSP application and initial business information.
  2. Submit documents — provide all required business documents, insurance certificates, forms, and driver information.
  3. Document review — UniUni reviews your submission and follows up if additional information or corrections are needed.
  4. Connect with Operations — once all required documents have been received and reviewed, we will connect your DSP with the local UniUni Operations team.
  5. Prepare for Day 1 — the Operations team will provide your assigned warehouse address, check-in instructions, operational guidelines, and other details needed to prepare for launch.
  6. Get started — follow the Operations team’s instructions to coordinate your first day of delivery operations.

The timeline depends on document completeness, outstanding requirements, and local operational readiness. Submitting all required information promptly helps prevent delays.

The DSP Management Team will assist with the application and documentation process. Once your documents have been reviewed, the local Operations team will help prepare your DSP for Day 1.

Contact your UniUni representative for assistance with applications, documentation, insurance, payments, or onboarding.

Thank you for applying!

Thank you for your interest in partnering with UniUni. We will reach out if you are selected as a DSP partner. We look forward to working with you and building a successful delivery partnership together.
