  • Design, architect, and build Android apps with a modern and rich UI.
  • Write maintainable, testable, and performant software in collaboration with our high-performing team.
  • Participate in code reviews and perform extensive testing to ensure we deliver high-quality software.
  • Work closely with UI/UX and product teams to transform requirements and mockups into product features.
  • Identify new mobile technologies, trends, opportunities, and how they might relate to improving our products and business.
  • Maintain the highest level of product reliability, code quality, and reusability by writing unit tests and integration tests to validate new software features.


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Android development. Solid understanding of the intricacies of the Android platform.
  • Experience with mobile development, including a portfolio of mobile apps designed for a variety of devices, specifically on the Android platform.
  • Experience in building complex Android applications featuring custom UI elements, handling background services, and managing asynchronous network requests.
  • Experience with web service integration (REST API).
  • Experience in writing unit and integration tests for Android apps.
  • Having examples of applications published on the Google Play store is a plus.
  • Knowledge of an Object-Oriented Programming language such as Java is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile development.
  • Knowledge of security strategies is a plus.
  • Self-motivated with excellent teamwork skills.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Resourceful, fast learner, and curious about the latest tech and Android trends.
  • A proactive personality with a desire to deliver your best work.
  • A passion for improving software development workflows and processes.

Compensation and Benefits

The hiring range for this position ranges from CAD$70,000 – CAD$80,000. Your actual level and salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience
